JEWISH MUSEUM (ZSIDÓ MÚZEUM)
Museum housing a fine collection of Judaic religious objects and everyday utensils used by Budapest's Jewish community.
To the left of the synagogue, in the same enclosure, is a beautiful two-storey collection of Jewish cultural objects and everyday utensils from the Budapest Jewish community, mainly from the 19th and 20th centuries. Many objects related to the great Jewish holidays (Rosh ha-Shana, Yom Kippur, Purim, Pessah, Soukoth...). In the basement, many panels tell the story of the Jewish bourgeoisie, as well as the dark hours of the Shoah in Hungary and the Budapest ghetto.
