BANK OF THE DANUBE (RÓMAI PART)
A bucolic corner of Budapest along the banks of the Danube up to the railroad bridge, with pebbly coves and bars.
A bucolic corner of Budapest unfolds along the Római Part (Danube bank) to the railway bridge. In the summer, small pebble creeks allow the bravest to sunbathe or even swim (beware of the current). Bars and fried fish stands open their doors as soon as the weather is nice. Nearby there is what Hungarians call "beach" (strand), in fact, here, a vast summer outdoor swimming complex (pools, slides...).
