Recinto ferial composed of several concentric circles and hosting since 1913 a small modernist temple with two floors
In 1710 the city experienced a new commercial boom when Philip V granted it the privilege of holding a feria franca, a free fair. In 1783, the city built its recinto ferial, which is composed of several concentric circles and since 1913 has housed a templete, a small modernist temple with two floors, decorated with trencadis and ironwork. Even outside of the fair, you can get a glimpse of the recinto ferial during the city's big market, which is held every Tuesday morning, in the surrounding area and also in its northern interior.
