CHÂTEAU
Castle with beautiful views of the city, whose entrance has an interpretation center that now welcomes visitors
Wherever you are in Almansa, you can't miss it, dominating the city and its surroundings from the top of the Eagle Hill. Its origins date back to the Almohad period at the end of the 11th century, but its transformation was carried out under the orders of Prince Juan Manuel during the first half of the 14th century. After three years of closure and an investment of nearly 2 million euros, it reopened its doors in 2020. At the entrance, an interpretation center (exhibitions, explanatory panels, videos) now welcomes visitors. Nice view on the city.
