MUSÉE ELISA CENDRERO
Museum of high society lifestyle with a private collection of paintings, library, salon and chapel
Elisa Cendrero y de Arias del Castillo (1888-1977), an illustrious member of the local upper middle class, had the good idea of donating her family's house, furniture and works of art to the municipality so that it could become a museum. On the second floor of this modernist-style house, one can visualize the lifestyle of the high society of the time through its private collection of paintings, its library, its salon and even its chapel. The first floor is used for temporary exhibitions.
