CHURRERIA LA HORMIGA 2
This is probably the churrería you should come across, as it is quite close to the Plaza Mayor. The regulars come here at the crack of dawn (around 7:30 am) to take away the churros or to eat them on the spot, installed on the few tables of the indoor room or sitting around the firecracker green tables lined on the pedestrian street. Most of the time, they will be porras (huge round tube that is cut) but there will also be Madrid churros, smaller and streaked. The chocolate that accompanies them will be thick and hot.
