RUIDERAS LAGOON
Lagoons of Ruidera extending in a valley and separated by waterfalls, streams and underground watercourses
They are located 25 kilometers north of Villanueva de los Infantes, on the N-430. In the past, the fifteen lakes that make up the Ruidera Lagoons Natural Park were called "the mirrors of La Mancha". They extend in a valley, for a distance of 20 kilometers, separated by waterfalls, small streams and underground watercourses. A natural phenomenon that can be explained by the presence of a karstic soil, very porous and undermined by cavities. The name of the place probably comes from one of the stories of Don Quixote.
