Amazing houses made of plaster and wood stuck to the cliff and suspended in the void in Cuenca
These plaster and wooden houses, glued to the cliff, are surprising, especially thanks to their wooden balconies, suspended in the void. It is estimated that these houses had to be built around the 14th century. Their use has varied over the centuries (town hall, stately homes). Today, of the original 14, three have been restored. A restoration that has allowed two of them to be occupied by the Museum of Abstract Art. Unmistakable!
