Visit this Gothic and Mudejar style palace which houses the Museo Provincial de Guadalajara
It is the most beautiful building in the Manchega capital. This palace built at the end of the 15th century for the powerful Mendoza family is the work of the architect Juan Guas. Of Gothic and Mudejar style, it houses a patio, the patio de los leones, finely decorated. It also houses the Museo Provincial de Guadalajara. Inaugurated in 1838, it is the oldest provincial museum in Spain. Of the ten rooms, six present a historical, ethnographic and artistic tour of the city, while the other four house temporary exhibitions.
