SAN ROMANO CHURCH - MUSEUM OF VISIGOTHIC CULTURE
Do not miss this church, the most representative of the Mudejar-Mozarabic style in Toledo
This is the most representative Mudejar-Mozarabic church in Toledo. Its walls are covered with superb murals. Note the Arabic characters around the windows, testimony to the Moorish influence on Christian art. It is likely that the building had Visigothic foundations, hence the idea of exhibiting pieces from this culture, such as funerary furnishings from the Carpio de Tajo necropolis and reproductions of votive crowns from the Guarrazar treasure.
