DÉGLON
Located in Thiers, the cradle of cutlery, Déglon has been passing on its ancestral know-how from generation to generation for nearly a century. The family company that designs high quality knives and cooking utensils adheres to Esprit de Thiers.
History. In 1921, Jean Déglon, a young engineer of Swiss origin, created his own workshop in Thiers, specialising in high quality manufacturing.
This "art" of the cutler has been passed down from generation to generation. His son, René Déglon, brought the company into the industrialization era and today it is Thierry Déglon, the grandson, who pursues and develops the values of quality and innovation that have made the brand's reputation in Europe, North America and many parts of the world.
With a catalogue containing more than 500 references, Déglon has become a must in the kitchen of both professionals and private individuals. At Déglon, each blade is ground and polished specifically for its use. The care taken in the choice of materials, the quality of machining, assembly and all finishing operations, makes each of its knives an exceptional tool. Extremely reliable, Deglon blades are guaranteed for life against any manufacturing defect.
With its new Generation Y series, Déglon won the Grand Prix Table et Cadeau Coutellerie 2014 as well as the LSA Innovation Trophy in the 100% Made in France category.
The products. Déglon offers a wide choice for cooks: sharpening guns, spatulas, butcher's knives... but also products adapted to private individuals such as utility knives and cheese knives. The cutler also produces breadboards, sharpeners, blocks, scissors...
