Restaurant offering a generous cuisine with local products.
Created in 1836, this ancestral establishment is a monument of Thiers gastronomy. At l'Aigle d'or, we love history, hence the name chosen in homage to Napoleon. The dishes also have a historical touch since they refer to Balzac and George Sand, famous customers. This downtown restaurant gives pride of place to local produce with a generous cuisine that reflects the stir-fry of lamb with oyster mushrooms and Auvergne accents such as boneless pig's feet gratinated with Saint-Nectaire cheese or Velay verbena ice cream. The terrace can accommodate 10 people while the main room can accommodate 60 people in a refined and warm setting.
