ABBEY'S HOUSE OF THE MOUTIER
This is a fine building, furnished in the style of the late century, demonstrating the refinement of the period.
The remains of a Cluniac Benedictine abbey founded around the year 1000, this site steeped in history has been through many vicissitudes. Its fortified medieval dwelling, flanked by two towers, deserves particular attention. The apartments, furnished in the style of the late 18th century, illustrate the refinement of the period. Nestled in a green setting on the water's edge, the estate features flower gardens and topiaries. The dwelling is adjacent to the Romanesque church of Saint-Symphorien.
