In their house in Thiers, Guy and Chantal Bertucat have installed a honey house. Beekeepers for more than twenty years, the two Thiernois have 350 to 400 hives which allow them to produce up to eight different honeys from the region: acacia, fir, dandelion, bramble, raspberry, chestnut and heather honey. In total, they produce between 7 and 15 tonnes of certified organic honey. Their quality product enabled them to win first prize at the Paris Agricultural Show in the acacia and fir honey categories.
