The building consists of a chapel with a major altarpiece by El Greco, a sanctuary and a sixteenth-century hospital with an important collection of works of art, including five paintings by El Greco on the themes of Christmas and the crowning of the Virgin. It also has a permanent exhibition dedicated to the patron saint of the city, Our Lady of Charity, including the mantles she wore. There are also sculptures, silverware, engravings from the 18th century and beautiful gold and silverware.
