CERAMIC MUSEUM RUIZ DE LUNA
Visit this museum that occupies part of the old convent of San Augustín
The museum occupies part of the former convent of San Augustín. The collection shows the splendor of the city, from the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as the enormous work of the ceramist Ruiz de Luna, from the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Of note are the dishes with Mudejar reminiscences, those with an oriental influence, the polychrome series from the 17th century, the golden age of Talavera pottery and the Santiago altarpiece, by Ruiz de Luna.
