MUSEUM OF THE MONASTERY OF SANTA CLARA LA REAL
One of the most emblematic buildings of the city that is part of the monastery of Santa Clara La Real in Murcia
This museum is part of the Monastery of Santa Clara La Real, one of the most emblematic buildings of the city. The monastery of Santa Clara was founded on the former palace of the Murcian emir Ibn Hud, from the 13th century, in the Islamic-Mudejar style. The building has different layers of history: Islamic, Gothic and Baroque periods. The garden of the monastery partially recreates the original layout of the Hudi palace in its heyday.
