PALAIS GUEVARA
Palace in Lorca representing an example of the civil baroque of the Spanish east coast, with baroque façade and cloister with garden
Built in the seventeenth century and also known as Casa de Las Columnas, this palace is one of the best examples of civil baroque on the Spanish east coast. On the outside, its impressive Baroque facade, abundantly decorated with plant motifs and satyrs, is noteworthy. And inside its cloister with garden, also with Baroque decoration. It has become one of the most emblematic buildings of Lorca. Today, only the patio can be visited, as the building is being restored after the earthquake of 2011.
