MUNICIPAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Museum that exhibits finds from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages, including many pieces from the ancient Jewish quarter
Located in the former residence of the Salazar Rosso family, a building from the 16th and 17th centuries named after the Genoese merchants who lived in Lorca, it exhibits finds from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages, including many pieces from the old Jewish quarter of Lorca. There are also Roman columns from the Augustan era that belong to the Via Augusta, which connects Cartago Nova, now Cartagena, and Eliocroca, now Lorca.
