One of the few natural areas of the Mediterranean combining mountains, beaches, cliffs, salt marshes and fossil dunes
In the southwest of the region of Murcia, the Regional Park Cal Negre and Cabo Cope extends over 1,032.21 hectares, between the lands of Lorca and Aguilas, and is one of the few natural areas of the Mediterranean combining mountains, beaches, cliffs, salt marshes and fossil dunes. It also includes a 17 km coastline, including the remarkably preserved Aguilas coast. Isolated coves, wrecks and underwater caves have made it one of the best diving sites in the country. With very famous spots like Cabo Cope, Isla del Fraile and Catedral.
