This bridge is made up of about thirty semi-circular arches and measures 525 meters
It is the oldest bridge in Badajoz, which was built in its current form in the sixteenth century but repaired and rebuilt partially due to the floods, which were quite frequent. Crossing the Guadiana River, it connects the neighborhoods on the right bank of the river (Santa Fernando and Santa Isabel) to its left bank where the old part of the city is located. It is made up of about thirty semicircular arches and measures 525 meters. A length that has also varied with the reconstructions that have been carried out.
