Museum located in the Alcazaba enclosure with a collection of more than 20,000 objects found in this province
Located in the Alcazaba, it occupies the former residence of the Counts of Roca (16th century), which has since been restored. Inside, we can discover a collection of more than 20,000 objects found in this province. Some of them date back to the Paleolithic period. The mezzanine floor also houses Roman remains and the first floor has four exhibitions showing the beginnings of Christianity, the decorative architecture of the Visigothic period, the Islamic period and the early Middle Ages.
