OFFICE DU TOURISME
Tourist office located in the convent of San Juan de Dios, with documentation on Alqueva
It is now located in the convent of San Juan de Dios. Built between 1556 and 1631, it had various uses before being abandoned and then rehabilitated as a dance and theater school, with the chapel becoming an auditorium. During a visit to the tourist office, you will notice its interior cloister. In this same space you will also find documentation on Alqueva, the largest artificial lake in Europe, inaugurated in 2002, which connects Spain and Portugal and the different ways to make the crossing by boat.
