To see the remains of the villa, you have to follow the road that comes out of the city on 200 m. There is still very little of this patrician villa, but there are still beautiful mosaic tiles.

Casa Romana del Anfiteatro à Mérida, Espagne
La Casa Romana del Anfiteatro se trouvait pour moi, à l’entrée de la partie historique de la ville de Mérida, venant du parking des camping-cars. J’ai trouvé ces vestiges très intéressants, car les panonceaux explicatifs sont explicites. Le site est bien entretenu y compris la partie jardin avec de très beaux rosiers et la végétation du patio central de la maison. Les bains privés, l’aqueduc et les mosaïques de la maison romaine ainsi que le monument funéraire sont plutôt bien conservés. Certaines des mosaïques restent magnifiques malgré leur ancienneté. A voir !
