COUVENT DE SANTA CLARA

For a long time, the Poor Clares have been making many sweets, sweets or cakes, elaborated in a traditional and artisanal way and which have made their reputation in all Extremadura. There was a time when the sale was only done through a small window with a flap. This is no longer the case. The sisters have opened a store where you can find their sweets in pretty packages. All year round there will be their specialty, the corazones del Obispo with almonds, but also perrunillas (crunchy cookies) and for Christmas, marzipan and truffles.
