PARADOR DE BENAVENTE * * * *
A castle overlooking the city of Benavente offering standard rooms with a small balcony and a relaxing view
Overlooking the town of Benavente, the castle was built in the 12th century and was home to the Catholic Monarchs before becoming a parador. The living room, dressed in beautiful medieval hangings, is located in the Caracol ("snail") tower, the only remaining part of the original castle. All the rooms in the parador have views of the garden, the summer pool and the Tera and Órbigo valleys, with the standard rooms having a small balcony and the superior rooms having direct access to the garden and pool. In any case, the view is very pleasant and relaxing.
