MUSEO DE ZAMORA
Museum with two themes, archaeology with the treasure of Arrabalde and Fine Arts, with collection of religious art and paintings
This museum is composed of two spaces, one occupying part of the Palacio del Cordón (16th century), the other a modern building designed by the architects Tuñón and Mansilla. It has two main themes: archaeology (works from prehistory to the modern age) and fine arts, with an important collection of religious art and paintings from the 14th to the 20th century. In the former, the treasure of Arrabalde, Roman steles and mosaics and Visigothic crosses are among the exhibits. There is also a room dedicated to the history of the city.
