Museum of the life and work of Baltasar Lobo, including sculptures, lithographs, drawings, photos and working tools
Born in 1910 in the Zamora region, Baltasar Lobo is one of the most important Spanish sculptors of the 20th century. Apprenticed at the age of 12 in a carving workshop in Valladolid, he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Madrid and went into exile in France during the Spanish Civil War. In Paris, where he produced all his work until his death in 1993, he came into contact with the entire artistic avant-garde. Located in the Casa de los Gigantes, the museum retraces his life and work. On display are sculptures, lithographs, drawings and working tools.
