PALACIO DE LOS PIMENTEL
Square where the seat of the Provincial Council of Valladoid is located, the building that witnessed the birth of Felipe II
This is the seat of the Provincial Council of Valladolid. As well as being a fine example of a 15th century noble palace, the building witnessed the birth of Felipe II. Legend even has it that the king was taken out of a window overlooking the Plaza de San Pablo to be baptised in the church of the same name. You can admire the magnificent azulejos on the walls of the hall, recalling the great historical moments of the city. Only the façade and the patio are open, and only if the place does not host any exhibition.
