MUSEO CASA DE COLÓN
Museum that presents a small collection of pre-Columbian art and some colorful paintings of the school of Cuzco in Valladolid
Recalling that Christopher Columbus came to end his days on the banks of the Pisuerga River, this house built on the site of the old mansion is an exact replica of his son's house in Santo Domingo. Through testimonies and explanatory panels, we are plunged six centuries back in time, when Christopher Columbus began his negotiations with the crown to set off to discover another world. It also presents a small collection of pre-Columbian art (ceramic vases, figurines) and some colourful paintings from the Cuzco school.
