NATIONAL MUSEUM COLEGIO DE SAN GREGORIO
The museum is housed in the magnificent building of the former San Gregorio College, and contains collections that are unique in Europe
Housed in the sumptuous 15th-century building of the former San Gregorio College, the museum boasts collections that are unique in Europe. The enormous stone altarpiece atop the portal, a pure masterpiece of the Isabelline style, is well worth a visit. Inside, the decorative wealth of the cloister is dazzling in its refinement. The collections on display represent the widest range of religious sculptures in polychrome wood from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
