This museum dedicated to the history of Palencia occupies a 16th-century Renaissance-style posada known as the Casa del Cordón. On three levels, it retraces Palencia's prehistory, Roman times and the Middle Ages. Throughout this visit, you will discover different archaeological remains found in the area. Not to be missed: the superb mosaic of Dueñas, the sarcophagus of Benevívere, the capital of San Martín de Frómista and the Roman busts of Becerril.
