SAN MIGUEL COLLEGE
Collegiate church with an interior distributed in three naves dominated by vaults, and houses a museum that exhibits the parish treasure
In the beautiful Plaza de España stands the collegiate church of San Miguel, in which several influences can be seen. While the main door (13th century) shows the transition from Romanesque to Gothic, the rest of the temple (14th century) is Gothic, while the bell tower is Herrerian (16th century). The interior is divided into three naves dominated by ribbed vaults. Note the Renaissance altarpiece and the numerous tombs. This place of worship houses a museum that exhibits the parish treasure, made up of gold and silverware, paintings and ivory.
