MUSEO DE BURGOS
Museum that exhibits the remains of Roman villas and displays thousands of objects dating from the Stone Age to ancient Rome
Around a neoclassical patio, three floors of exhibits present thousands of objects dating from the Stone Age to Ancient Rome. The Celtiberian period is largely represented by its bronzes. Finally, the remains of a Roman villa complete this panorama of the region's history. There is also a Fine Arts section with a plethora of Mozarabic art objects, tombs, Renaissance paintings, works from the Baroque period (José Moreno, Mateo Cerezo...) and paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries (Andrés García Prieto, Luis Manero Miguel...).
