Worth seeing buildings in the old part of Soria like the Romanesque church of San Juan de Rabanera, the Playa Mayor
From the cathedral, follow the main road surrounding the old quarter to reach the Santo Domingo convent, a 12th-century building with a beautiful pink façade decorated symmetrically with sixteen blind arches and a pretty rose window. Other buildings worth seeing in the old quarter include the beautiful Romanesque church of San Juan de Rabanera (visit before the 7 p.m. mass), the powerful Renaissance-style Palacio de los Condes de Gomara and the Playa Mayor, lined with remarkable buildings.
