Nicknamed the "Palace of the Fallow Deer", this royal residence stands on the highest part of a seven-hundred-hectare oak forest. The Italianate palace was commissioned by Isabel de Farnesio (Queen of Spain from 1714 to 1746) and dates from the mid-18th century. Works by José de Ribera, René-Antoine Houasse, Diego Velázquez, Pierre Paul Rubens... Part of the palace has been converted into a hunting museum, featuring a collection of weapons, trophies and tapestries from the Real Fábrica.
