PLAZA MAYOR
You will find a very professional and well documented tourist office in Plaza Mayor
This Plaza Mayor has existed since 1461, but took on its present form in 1532, when the church of Saint Michael (at the time the square was called Plaza San Miguel in reference to the church), which was in the center, collapsed and had to be rebuilt on one of the sides. All around the square, you'll find the granite Town Hall (1610), the Juan Bravo Theater (1917), and in the center a bandstand where concerts are regularly held. Every Thursday morning, Segovia's emblematic square hosts a fresh produce market.
