Michel Streissel is the last potter in Soufflenheim to fire part of his production in a wood-fired kiln, a village event you can attend. From kougelhopf molds and baeckeoffe dishes to salad bowls and foie gras terrines, you'll find everything a traditional Alsatian kitchen needs! You'll also find his little characters, the "Holzschumännele", a male figure, and the "Holzschuwiwele", a female figure, as well as numerous creations that will decorate any interior, from the most traditional to the most contemporary.
