SAN LORENZO CHURCH
Small church of medieval origin in Pamplona with a chapel with a silver and polychrome wooden statue of the Saint
Small church of medieval origin, which houses the chapel of San Fermín (18th century). It is built on a Greek cross plan, which can be admired inside. It is in this chapel that devotees gather when the Sanfermines, Pamplona's world-famous patron saint's day, is celebrated. The 7th of July is the only day of the year when the silver and polychrome wooden statue of the Saint, dating from the end of the 15th century, leaves its resting place to travel in procession through the old part of the city.
