ARCHIVO REAL Y GENERAL DE NAVARRA
This imposing building was remodeled by the architect Rafael Moneo to house the Royal and General Archives of Navarre
Formerly the Palace of the Kings of Navarre (in Spanish Palacio de los Reyes de Navarra) built in the 12th century, and later the seat of the captaincy and military government, this imposing building, after having been abandoned for some thirty years, was remodeled in 2003 by the architect Rafael Moneo to house the Royal and General Archives of Navarre. Exhibitions are regularly held in the building, based on its documentary holdings. Consult the program online.
