YAMAGUCHI PARK
Zen Park in Pamplona with a Planetarium and several movie theaters, ideal for lovers of Japanese culture
This Zen park will seduce lovers of Japanese culture. Designed by Japanese landscape designers and inaugurated in 1997, it is named after the Japanese city twinned with Pamplona, where Saint Francis Xavier lived in the 16th century. A tribute to the four seasons, a variety of plants and species, both native and exotic, thrive among the ornamental elements: beach, pavilion on the pond, bridges, waterfall and the lake geyser (20 m high!). The park also houses a Planetarium and several movie theatres, making it a major attraction outside the city centre.
