MUSEO DE NAVARRA
Museum located on the heights of the city, tracing the history of Navarre since prehistoric times
The Regional Museum of Navarre is located on the heights of the city, in a former hospital (the Hospice de Nuestra Señora de la Misericordia), whose façade it has preserved, and is all the more pleasant to visit as it overlooks the city. The entire history of Navarre is recounted here, from prehistoric times to the present day. The Roman mosaic depicting the Triumph of Bacchus (from the 1st century), the capitals of the Romanesque Cathedral of Pamplona, the Mozarabic chest of Leire and the Portrait of the Marquis of San Adrián painted by Goya are just some of the things to see. Free for pilgrims.
