MUSEO PABLO SARASATE
Museum with a monographic exhibition of objects belonging to the violinist and composer Pablo Sarasate
This museum houses a monographic exhibition of objects belonging to the violinist and composer Pablo Sarasate (1844-1908), a musician born in Pamplona and certainly the most famous of Navarre's music lovers. His personal belongings include a portrait of the artist painted in 1894 by Llaneces, a bronze bust by Mariano Benlliure, his Vuillaume and Gaul & Bernardel violins and his inseparable Bechstein piano. The collection is organized around four themes: family and friends; personal objects; public recognition; and music.
