Cathy and David Bouchet have been welcoming guests to their inn since 2003. Well-anchored in the heart of an exceptional natural site, the establishment is renowned for its calm and the comfort of its rooms. Renovated and installed under the combes, the three rooms have a certain cachet, thanks to their exposed beams. Two dining rooms offer simple menus, concocted with local produce, as well as specialities to order: fourme d'Ambert fondue, frogs' legs, etc. The Valcivières inn has been awarded the "Bistrot de Pays" label.

Pour y avoir mangé plusieurs fois entre amis j y retourne avec plaisir, de bon cuisses de Grenouilles, de bonnes pommes de terres à la crème, des viandes tendres...une cuisine de terroir. Une patronne très serviable et souriante, très accueillante.

Très belle soirée au son des bûches au fond de l'âtre. Accueil des plus chaleureux et framboise sur le framboisier, très belle proposition de menu pour un lendemain de clôture de chasse : un civet de chevreuil.
