LAC DE YESA

Formed by the impoundment on the river Aragon, this artificial lake forms the largest navigable surface of Navarre. The lake is 10 km long and is located at the foot of the Sierra de Leyre, but it extends mainly over the province of Aragon. Sportsmen will find here a small paradise for the practice of sailing and windsurfing, especially since the weather is generally mild in this corner of Navarre. But beware: this is not a tourist spot, so you won't find any services on site. If you are not afraid of the slush, you can swim in the turquoise waters!
