Nicknamed La Aguja (The Needle), this church built from the 12th century is distinguished by its 13th century Gothic tower, which is one of the most emblematic features of the city. Its main façade, built in the seventeenth century, is the work of Juan de la Riba. Inside, its great Mannerist altarpiece is worth a visit. This work by the sculptor Arnao de Bruselas (16th century) depicts several scenes from the Gospel. Also noteworthy is its beautiful cloister.
