Discover the ramparts of ancient Calagurris, the El Planillo arch and Roman cloisters.
Calahorra had its golden age during the Roman era, when the town was still called Calagurris Iulia Nassica. Many objects were discovered during excavations and are now on display in the Romanisation Museum. In the town you can see the walls of the old Calagurris, the El Planillo arch and the Roman cloacas, as well as what remains of the old thermal baths and the circus. On the site of the Clínica, you will see the remains of a dwelling from the 1st century AD. A true journey through time.
