Go there and contact
Lighthouses and forts in a park overlooking the Bay of Santoña and the Cantabrian Sea, a beautiful natural area in Santona.
Overlooking the Bay of Santoña and the Cantabrian Sea, Monte Buciero Park is home to two lighthouses and three forts that guard Santoña from the top of their rocky promontory: San Martín (where a permanent exhibition on Santoña is held), San Carlos (17th century) and El Mazo (built by Napoleon in 1812). It is also a beautiful natural area, with a forest that stands out against the sea. Ask for the guide to the paths(sendas) that run through it at the tourist office.
