Church of Renaissance style, with a facade decorated with remarkable baroque shields, in Santander.
The church was built by the Society of Jesus in Renaissance style. Its classical façade dates from the 17th century and is adorned with large baroque shields. It was built by Juan de Nates, Mazarredondo and Juan de Ribas. The interior consists of a single nave, dominated by a rectangular apse and crowned by side chapels linked by semicircular arches. The dome and apse are by the Italian architect Vignola, built in the 16th century.
