PRONILLO ENCLAVE
Palace consisting of a tower, walls and a Renaissance house in the park of the Magdalena.
Located in the Magdalena Park, the Palace of Riva-Herrera or Pronillo was declared Property of Cultural Interest in 1979. This architectural complex consists of a tower, walls and a Renaissance-style house. The patriarch of the Riva-Herrera family to whom the palace belonged, Don Fernando, added windows and gargoyles to the tower at the end of the 16th century. The shield of the Riva-Herrera family and an old sundial on the façade can still be seen today. It is now the headquarters of the Fundación Santander Creativa.
